About: we just moved here from Baffin Island in the artic circle. Both my parents worked at a research station there. My dad wouldn’t tell me what they were researching but I think it had something to do with maglev and beating the “bloody Russians” as he put it. Nobody will tell me what happened, but one day he went to work and never came home. Pretty much after he died we moved here. Mom says we had to move here for work and that the schools would be better. But this town seems a little…off. Either way, here we are. Theres not a lot for a kid to do in the artic circle so I read. A lot. Everything I can get my hands on. I don’t normally hang out with younger kids (I’m 13) but also I don’t normally hang out with anybody so I guess I got nothing to complain about. When I’m not at home, or at school I’m usually at the library. Mr Heathcote the librarian is super cool and we talk about old Sci fi books and practice brain teasers all the time.
